Who we are
HI Kendama sells small-batch kendamas from Hawai‘i at hikendama.com. By placing an order or using this site you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Ordering & payment
Online payments are processed by Stripe on their secure checkout page — we never see or store your card details. Prices are in US dollars; Hawai‘i general excise tax is added at checkout. An order is confirmed when payment succeeds and you receive a confirmation email. Pay-at-pickup orders placed with us directly are confirmed when payment is made in person.
Pickup & shipping
Free pickup is in the Ward Village area by scheduled appointment only — HI Kendama has no storefront, and the exact meeting point is shared after you order. Shipped orders go out from Hawai‘i for a flat rate with tracking emailed to you. Risk of loss passes to you on hand-over at pickup or on carrier acceptance for shipped orders.
Presale orders
Presale purchases reserve a kendama from a batch that is already in transit and being prepared for restock. All sales are final on presale orders. We email you the moment your reservation is ready, and pickup scheduling or shipping starts then.
Cancellations & issues
If we cancel an order (for example, a stock error on our side), anything you paid is refunded in full to your original payment method. If an order arrives damaged or something is wrong, reply to your confirmation email or use the chat on your order page and we'll make it right.
Marketing emails
At checkout you can choose to receive occasional emails about new drops, restocks, and news. The checkbox is optional — unticking it never affects your order. Every marketing email we send includes a working unsubscribe link, and you can opt out anytime by unsubscribing or replying to any email. Order-related emails (confirmations, pickup scheduling, tracking) are sent regardless, because they're part of fulfilling your purchase. If you are ordering from a region that requires affirmative consent (such as the EU or Canada), only tick the box if you want these emails — and know that unsubscribing always works, immediately, no questions asked.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawai‘i, USA. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms from time to time; the date above always reflects the current version.
