Inspired by the special significance of the number 8, the MUGEN MUSOU INFINITY 8 Ball is a one-of-a-kind kendama that blends symbolism, craftsmanship, and innovation into a truly collectible masterpiece. In billiards, the 8 ball is the most important ball on the table, the one that determines victory or defeat. MUGEN MUSOU embraced this concept and transformed it into a kendama that represents challenge, achievement, and the pursuit of success.
When turned on its side, the number 8 becomes the symbol for Infinity (∞), representing endless growth, limitless possibilities, and the continuous journey of mastering kendama. In Japanese culture, the number eight is also considered a symbol of prosperity and success because of its widening shape, known as Suehiro. The hope behind this model is that the 8 Ball becomes a symbol of good fortune and accomplishment for every player who picks it up.

-First Ever Inlay Decoration
The 8 Ball introduces a major innovation for MUGEN MUSOU: inlay decoration.
This traditional technique involves embedding different materials into the surface of wood to create intricate designs. For the first time in MUGEN MUSOU history, the number 8 has been beautifully inlaid into the tama itself, turning the kendama into a true work of art.
The walnut grain is intentionally positioned vertically to emphasize the inlaid design and showcase the natural beauty of the wood. To further enhance performance, maple is embedded into the base of the tama to create an optimized weight balance.
Inspired by a Billiard Cue
The ken takes inspiration directly from a professional billiard cue.
Using the signature INFINITY joint construction, MUGEN MUSOU combines multiple wood species to achieve an ideal balance between durability, strength, and performance. Internally, lightweight Hinoki (Japanese Cypress) is incorporated to create a perfectly tuned weight distribution that excels during:
-Lunar tricks
-Taps
-Balance tricks
-Technical freestyle
-Juggling combinations
-Infinite Customization
Like all models in the INFINITY lineup, the 8 Ball can be completely disassembled into four interchangeable components:
-Tama (Ball)
-Sarado (Cup Body)
-Spike
-Grip Section
This modular system allows players to replace components, experiment with different materials, and customize their kendama to perfectly suit their individual style of play.
